Title: National Account Manager - Store Fixtures

Job Summary:

Our client seeks a dynamic and experienced National Account Manager to join their team. As a National Account Manager, you will play a critical role in driving their growth by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and leading the sales efforts on a national scale.
 

Duties:

  • Identify, target, and pursue new business opportunities, specifically national and regional C-Store chains.
  • Develop and maintain relationships at all levels of customer and prospect organizations through sales calls, phone calls, email and other types of correspondence. Entertain customers and prospects whenever possible.
  • Develop and maintain sales through existing and new accounts that will generate revenues and profits for the company.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales materials and marketing campaigns to support sales efforts.
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure effective project management, delivery, and customer satisfaction.
  • Provide outstanding customer support and service that will differentiate our company from our competitors.
  • Stay current with industry trends and market dynamics to provide valuable insights to the organization.
  • Utilize existing information and/or research new information to promote sales of store fixtures and accessories.
  • Maintain clear and direct lines of communication throughout the organization to meet customer requirements.
  • Perform pre- and post-delivery follow-up with every customer.
  • Assist in training and/or interacting with team members to help meet established goals and standards.
  • Track and update all sales activities in Salesforce.com database.
  • Submit timely expense reports and other necessary paperwork.
  • Other duties & accounts may be assigned on an as-needed basis.
 

Responsibilities

  • Maintains a safe work environment, especially while traveling.
  • Follows procedures as detailed in the Company Handbook and in other documents.
  • Demonstrates a highly professional and “winning” attitude when approaching existing and potentially new customers.
  • Displays an awareness and ability to maximize the utilization of materials and to minimize waste of materials.
  • Displays a sense of urgency towards completing assigned tasks.
  • Assists in moving projects through the sales process by interacting with the departments. 
  • Assures the quality of work produced is acceptable to company standards and customer specifications.
  • Identifies and implements solutions to customer problems as expeditiously as possible.
  • Develops and maintains accurate documentation to support all selling functions.
  • Behaves responsibility and ethically when entertaining and socializing with customers and prospects.
 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent sales experience.
  • Track record of success in selling equipment, fixtures, OEM, etc. to the convenience store industry.
  • Must be self-motivated and capable of working without constant supervision.
  • Ability to read and interpret job orders and understand specifications.
  • Possess strong organizational skill.
  • Have extensive knowledge of materials and processes that relate to the company’s products.
  • Able to work in Microsoft Office
 
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be detail oriented.
  • Capable of learning new skills as needed.
  • Committed to learning and growing.
  • Must be able to travel 50%+

Preference for applicants living west of the Mississippi.
