Title: Branded Wholesale Operations Manager
Region: Midwest
Compensation: $165,000.00
Description: Compensation: ~$165K + (DOE, base + bonus)

The primary responsibilities of this role are to manage the business unit P&L, establish annual budgets with targets for growth and capital, develop long-term strategic plans for the wholesale sales team to achieve defined goals.  Lead a team of sales professionals’ efforts to maintain, develop and expand branded dealer business for the company by aligning the team’s goals and objectives with the client's corporate goals and strategy. Be the team’s voice with senior management, accounting, supply and logistics, by recommending and supporting process improvement to increase efficiency and profitability and streamline business operations.

Expectations / Responsibilities
 
  • Drive P&L performance through accurate forecasting, maintaining budgetary commitments and diligent management of expenses.
  • Complete financial analysis and reporting activities routinely that are shared / presented to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Establish and monitor processes for new business development, contract compliance and branded programs execution and publish routine reporting on results.
  • Own the development and expansion of company's market presence as a leading branded and unbranded marketer in both the eyes of the supplier community and customer community.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop collateral, campaigns, and promotions that establish the company as the differentiated supplier in the markets they serve.
  • Facilitate a sales and operations environment that builds and maintains professional and profitable business relationships with current and prospective dealers.
  • Continue to cultivate business relationships with branded suppliers to ensure maximum product, deal economics, contract compliance and vendor productivity.
  • Enable and empower organic growth by providing constructive sales feedback to team, leading by example, and fostering a customer-driven sense of urgency.
  • Champion and execute the process of managing the appropriate portfolio of brand offerings, and create a structure around offers and conversion process satisfying our customer and business needs (CRM).
  • Facilitate the team's ability to successfully onboard new acquisitions of dealers.
  • Engage with and recommend opportunities for profitable acquisitions that will support the company's goals, including diligence, assimilation, and execution against proforma targets.
  • Travel in support of relationship building with suppliers, customers and employees.
  • Other duties and projects as needed or as assigned by leadership.
Qualifications
 
  • Bachelor’s degree with industry experience is required; or, extensive Business, Sales and Marketing experience in petroleum industry, or related fields is a must.
  • Experience managing a related industry sales team is required.
  • Basic understanding of financial statements, such as the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow statement
  • Experience in all aspects of the dealer channel of trade.
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, negotiating and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must continuously demonstrate the ability to work well with and provide excellent customer service to a wide variety of customers and dealers.
  • Must have proven and verifiable experience growing a dealer book.
Strong capabilities in using Microsoft Office Software; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PowerBI, Dynamic, Outlook and CRM programs.
