Title: Corporate Controller

Position Description:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Corporate Controller (Controller) is responsible for oversight of all accounting activities. This position oversees accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems, and ensures compliance with appropriate GAAP standards, lender reporting, and regulatory requirements. The Controller reviews all accounting operations and works with teams with functional responsibility over GL accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, cash management, fuel, retail, and tax accounting. The Controller is responsible for the integrity of GAAP and tax reporting and ensures that systems, procedures, and controls are in place and operating to support that reporting as well as  management information. In addition, the Controller works towards achieving better integration across all functional areas in the company. The Corporate Controller has direct responsibility for the Tax and Internal Audit Team and indirect responsibility for the functional accounting teams.

Qualifications:
•    Bachelor Degree in accounting or finance or equivalent business experience and 10+ years of progressively responsible experience
•    CPA/MBA preferred
•    Convenience retail / fuel experience using PDI/Enterprise (preferred)
•    Extensive acquisition integration experience (preferred)
•    10 years of experience managing people
•    Knowledge of and skill in using Microsoft Excel and other common tools used in accounting
•    Ability to maintain confidentiality
•    Sound judgment 
•    Excellent written and verbal communication skills; must speak English.

•    Maintains internal controls and ensures functional teams are operating them effectively
