Compensation: ~$125K, DOE


Our client seeks a high-energy Construction Superintendent to run daily field operations. You will be the primary person responsible for onsite safety, subcontractor coordination, and ensuring the project stays on schedule and up to code.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Field Supervision: Direct all onsite construction activities and manage daily subcontractor performance.
  • Schedule adherence: Ensure daily tasks align with the project timeline
  • Quality & Safety: Conduct daily site walks to enforce safety protocols and ensure work meets technical specifications.
  • Logistics: Coordinate sub-contractors, material deliveries, equipment staging, and site inspections.
  • Reporting: Communicate progress/delays to the Project Manager / Stake Holders.


Requirements

  • Education: Degree (Preferred but not required)
  • Experience: 3+ years of field leadership on construction sites. Convenience store construction experience highly desirable but small format retail, QSR, etc. will also be considered.
  • Skills: Expertise in reading blueprints, managing site labor, and local codes.
  • Traits: Strong "take-charge" leadership and quick problem-solving skills under pressure.
  • Compliance: Knowledge of onsite safety regulations and permit requirements.


Preferred Skills

  • Specialized Knowledge: Experience with construction, risk management, and contract claims.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership and the ability to manage multiple teams in a collaborative environment.
