Position Summary:

This role plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the company's product master reference data for their retail operations. Maintaining the integrity of the price book source data is pivotal to the ability of the company to execute data analytics, optimize retail activities and create business value. This position is part of a dynamic and rapidly growing team that prioritizes speed to market, agility in responding to competitive actions, and the development of efficient processes and practices to scale the business.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for filing and maintaining all price book material and records and communicate applicable changes to the client's company owned locations.
  • Daily interaction with vendors, company team members including but not limited to store management, merchandising, finance, and operational accounting.
  • Communicate price book changes to relevant team members and operational departments as required.
  • Ensuring consistency and accuracy of the product attributes residing in the company's back office and POS systems.
  • Managing and maintaining the price book database across all the operational requirements to
  • effectively sell and control all the product categories sold at company locations.
  • Identifying and addressing root causes of issues affecting processes such as data reporting and
  •       supplier payables/receivables, linked to the price book.
  • Follows the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS) structure for data management and lead periodic updates to the structure as needed.


 

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting or retail-oriented program preferred.
  • 6+ years related experience is required with at least 2+ years in a leading price book management or price book supervisory role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Proven Expertise in the use of PDI Enterprise, JDA Red Prairie or Petrosoft C-Store Office highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of retail store operations specifically in convenience retail business process.
