Title: Chemical and Lubricant Sales Manager
Region: Southwest
Compensation: $140,000.00
Description: Compensation: ~$140K (base + bonus)

As a Lubricant & Chemical Sales Manager, the primary responsibility will be focused on providing support to all sales representatives and managers while also seeking to acquire net new customers in the client’s operating region. Success will depend heavily on technical skills, deep knowledge of industrial and automotive lubricants and chemical sales, and business relationships.  
Your Responsibilities:  
  • Develop a sales strategy to identify new industrial and chemical opportunities to grow the company’s presence with multiple industries
  • Manages existing customers in their portfolio and seeks opportunities to gain net new opportunities in the Southwest
  • Support the sales team in identifying and developing new industrial and chemical leads in each territory
  • Establishes and maintains strong relationships by visiting customers, resolving technical issues and attend customer events
  • Develops strategic account plans that articulate opportunities, actions and risks for each account by interpreting technical data
  • Grows portfolio by ensuring each account has full breadth of company’s products. Quickly understands and acts on volume variance.  Works with customer to develop programs that drive growth
  • Optimizes profitability of portfolio (e.g. pricing, payment terms, purchases, etc.)
  • Lead business reviews, technical presentations and attend customer meetings on a regular basis
  • Complete contract negotiations, as necessary
  • Identifies cross channel opportunities and works with sales peers to grow sales
  • Understands decision influence groups, and account risks
  • Conducts quarterly business reviews
Your Skills:  
  • Utilize sales tools such as Salesforce, Microsoft Office and Sales CRM (customer relationship management tool) 
  • Experience in the petroleum industry required 
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks with strong attention to detail 
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to organize and prioritize workload 
Your Experience:  
  • Degree in Business Administration (or relevant)
  • 5-10 years relatable experience in sales/marketing and customer service
