Description:
The fundamental purpose of this position is to develop new sales, work as a team member to visit customer accounts, build relationships, and grow the sales and customer base of all products and services within the assigned region. Knowledge of lubricants preferred, with experience in On-Road Highway Trucking, Commercial Fleets, Construction, and Energy Service companies being a plus. This role offers a competitive salary plus additional compensation.

Responsibilities:

  • Cultivate and maintain customer relationships in assigned regions to secure strategic positioning with decision makers, retain current revenue, and generate additional business.
  • Make regular customer visits and manage customer accounts on an ongoing basis.
  • Provide feedback reports to the supervisor regarding customer contacts.
  • Operate in accordance with company policy and procedures.
  • Learn and operate CRM (Salesforce) with comfort and clarity.
  • Reach out to potential new customers and grow in the local regions.
  • Follow up on customer quotations.
  • Review monthly budgets and expenses with the supervisor to meet company goals.
  • Represent the company at trade shows and industry groups.
Requirements:
  • Lubricant knowledge preferred; selling to On-Road Highway & Construction a plus.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic email and PC functions.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel).
  • Knowledge of common business practices relating to the purchase, pricing, terms, shipment, taxes, and payment for products and services.
  • Ability to learn and retain product-specific information and utilize it to position the features and benefits to the customer.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, competitive with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, and a proven successful sales record.
  • Travel: REQUIRED – Travel within the sales area; other travel may be required.
