Our client, a highly successful convenience retailing company located in the Midwest, seeks a qualified Treasury Director reporting directly to the CFO

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manages the full life cycle of the cash needs of the Company, which includes daily cash forecasting, bank reconciliations, managing debt facilities, customer transaction reconciliation, participating in the budgeting process, assisting Operations’ cash needs
  • extending and controlling fleet customers credit
  • Plans for the short and mid-term cash needs of the Company
  • Directly supervises the Accounting Analyst to reconcile Rent Income, QSR Income, Construction payments and manage the fleet admin panel
  • Establishes and maintains strong communication with Operations and Fleet Sales Department, to understand and react to cash management needs, process improvements and internal controls
  • Closely working with the IT department, manages the Company’s various Proprietary Card products, including the prepaid card portfolio, Direct Customer Credit portfolio and Direct Bill customers
  • Produces treasury and transactional reports to make recommendations on continuous improvement
  • Develops, maintains, and administers the Company’s cash management policies
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Education & Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in treasury functions with the convenience store and petroleum marketing industries
  • proven personnel management ability
  • Proven user experience with an ERP platform and a bank’s executive account portal
  • Degreed (Accounting / Business related)

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure, prioritize and handle multiple competing tasks and demands appropriately and professionally
