Compensation: $120K + bonus + car plan

Highly successful and nationally recognized C-store chain seeks a Director of QSR Operations possessing the requisite combination of vision, strategic insight and tactical abilities to foster their continued profitability and expansion plans.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for working with multi-unit restaurants and developing a team of high performing District Managers, establishing a clear succession plan for the organization, and ensures that high levels of operational excellence are achieved.
  • Ensures that a team of high performing support staff is in place
  • Communicates the importance of building success the right way: through the creation of culture which empowers and rewards top performers, and compassionately and fairly improves or removes low performers to benefit the culture as a whole.
  • Supports the efforts of the team developing excellent restaurants, maintaining an effective system of marketing, and building an effective facilities support and maintenance program
  • Coaches District Managers/Managers to achieve financial success in building sales and profit
  • Demonstrates high caliber leadership and the ability to remove obstacles, so that restaurants have the highest standards of service, safety, cleanliness, organization, food quality and ambience.
  • Provides leadership, direction, training, and development to District managers and Managers
  • Initiates recommendations on improvements to business-Advises district and general managers on labor issues including, safety, security, employee relations, scheduling, training etc.
  • Partners with HR in any investigation that arises in the area and work with HR to finalize and make decisions on any action to be taken.
  • Proactively relays competitive information, strategic input and ROI-focused operational improvements

 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of proven multi-unit leadership in a QSR and /or fast casual restaurant environment, preferably including the management of District Managers
  • Degreed
  • Proven track record of developing high performing teams
  • Skilled in managing costs and developing/implementing corrective action to address issues
  • Business management oriented with a solid knowledge of the QSR industry. This is not a task-focused role.
  • Demonstrated success working in a team environment
  • Proficiency in QSR operations, including BOH / FOH
  • Advanced ability to communicate, influence, and negotiate decisions while motivating staff
  • Experience developing, implementing and effectively managing budgets and P&Ls
