Description:

KEY ROLE AND OBJECTIVE

Construct, repair, and enhance the company’s retail physical assets.

Equip the company’s physical assets to deliver the core principles of company’s positioning.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads repair and maintenance teams; accountable for total R&M resources & performance;
  • Achieves specific financial objectives relative to facilities maintenance; prepares budget and manages expenditures;
  • Identifies revenue-generating and revenue-preserving capital improvement projects;
  • Identifies and quantifies the BU’s capital needs; creates annual capital budget(s) and manages capital expenditures;
  • Develops and implements all capital improvement projects, including building construction, petroleum infrastructure, and new programs;
  • Ensures retail and wholesale units are meeting all environmental regulatory compliance commitments (UST systems, remediation, etc.);
  • Leads procurement efforts as they relate to equipment, service contracts, capitalizable retail and petroleum equipment assets;
  • Improves efficiency of department processes by evaluating system results, recommending new systems, policies and procedures; implements revisions;
  • Maintains continuity work teams by communicating actions, irregularities and continuing needs;
  • Increases employee’s effectiveness by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training; communicates expectations, values, strategies and objectives; coaches, counsels and teaches employees; plans, monitors and appraises job results; fosters a climate conducive for offering information and opinions; provides educational opportunities.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Experience managing a team of field and / or office personnel in a retail petroleum environment.
  • 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in retail petroleum facilities.
  • Must be computer literate in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
