Overview

Our client seeks a highly motivated and creative Social Media & Brand Management Manager to lead the continued development, execution, and optimization of their brand and digital presence. This role will play a critical part in shaping how the company is perceived across the fuel and lubricant distribution industry while also strengthening the visibility and reputation of their convenience store chain. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable building strategic brand campaigns, managing day-to-day social media activity, and analyzing performance metrics to drive growth.


Key Responsibilities

Brand Strategy & Development

  • Develop and implement a cohesive brand strategy for both the wholesale fuel/lubricant business and retail convenience store chain.
  • Ensure consistent brand messaging, voice, and visual identity across all channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Partner with leadership, sales, and operations teams to align brand strategy with business objectives.


Social Media Management

  • Create, schedule, and manage content across multiple platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, X/Twitter, YouTube, etc.).
  • Build brand awareness, customer engagement, and community growth through creative storytelling, campaigns, and interactive content.
  • Monitor social media channels for industry trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback.
  • Respond to inquiries and engage with followers to foster strong customer relationships.


Campaign Development & Execution

  • Design and launch integrated marketing campaigns (digital, print, in-store, and community outreach) that highlight both the distribution and retail sides of the business.
  • Collaborate with external agencies, designers, and photographers/videographers when needed.
  • Plan seasonal promotions, product launches, and community sponsorships that elevate visibility and drive traffic.


Analytics & Performance Tracking

  • Track, measure, and report on key metrics including reach, engagement, impressions, conversions, and ROI.
  • Use insights to refine content strategies and maximize impact.
  • Stay current on emerging platforms, tools, and best practices.


Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work with sales, operations, and HR to support internal and external communication needs.
  • Partner with convenience store team to support local marketing and community involvement initiatives.
  • Provide brand support for corporate presentations, trade shows, and sponsorship opportunities.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in social media management, brand marketing, or related field. Strong preference given to candidates with relevant industry experience.
  • Strong understanding of both B2B and B2C marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency with social media management platforms and analytics tools.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with strong attention to detail.
